How it works, start to finish

We talk through what's bothering you, examine your mouth, and take an OPG scan if the dentist decides one is needed. About 45 minutes.

Your written plan
You get the full plan in writing, what's involved, how long it'll take, the total cost, and the monthly figure if you'd rather spread it.
- 03
Placing the implant
Done under local anaesthetic, with sedation if you'd prefer. Most patients tell us it was easier than they'd expected. You go home the same day.
- 04
Healing
The implant needs time to fuse with the bone. This usually takes a few months, and you're not left with a gap while you wait.
- 05
Your new tooth
The final crown, bridge or denture is fitted and adjusted until the bite feels right and it looks like it belongs there.
Timescales vary by case. Your dentist will give you a realistic timeline at your consultation.

IV sedation
You stay conscious and able to respond, but deeply relaxed. Most patients remember very little of the appointment. Suitability is assessed by the dentist beforehand.

Delivers anaesthetic slowly and steadily rather than in one push. Most patients find it much more comfortable than a traditional syringe.
Inhalation sedation
Laughing gas. Takes the edge off, wears off quickly, and you can usually drive yourself home afterwards.
